Canfor site eyed for waste management facility

Despite the mayor's claimed ignorance of this, less than a month ago, the Record today broke the story that the Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District has begun the process to expropriate the Canfor lands for the construction and operation of one or more waste management facilities.

Maybe Wayner was having a nap during that meeting?

Another fine example of forthrightness by Mayor WayneRite.
Waynocchio rides again!!
As has been stated before, the GVRD (Metro), simply does not operate in a municipality without it's knowledge. Metro negotiations with Canfor broke down. They have been going on for some time.
What has also been going on for some time is that the residents of New Westminster aren't being told the truth.

"I remember landing under sniper fire, there was supposed to be some kind of a greting ceremony at the airport, instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base." - Hillary Clinton

" I am not a crook". Richard Nixon

" I did not have sex with that woman." Bill Clinton

" I have no idea if New Westminster is on Metro Vancouver's radar as a potential waste to energy site, but the city wants to be prepared if it's approached and asked to consider a facility." WayneRite

These are all quotes in Double Jeopardy. Guess what the category is.

We have a major blow-up brewing here. Metro will want to privatize this waste to energy facility. Corrigan, who pulls Mayor WayneRite's strings will go ballistic, as will the 3 puppets for the Labor Slate. Helium Boy and Williams will do what Harper and HQ tells them to do, it's all a little too complex for Williams, besides she is busy filling out resumes for awards. What will Mayor hi-rise do? He may not be able to B.S. his way out of this one.
